The song “Dotara,” which debuted on Tuesday, features playback vocalist Jubin Nautiyal, actress Mouni Roy, and composer Payal Dev. The song has a touch of Bengali flavour and showcases Jubin and Mouni’s electric chemistry. They dress up in unique avatars as they are immersed in an old-fashioned story.
On discussing the song, Mouni said: “”Dotara” transports you into a new historical period and back in time. With these regal appearances, I felt like a princess, and the atmosphere on the set was extraordinary. It’s a charming and lovely music video.” The song’s music video was produced by Payal Dev, with direction by B.L.M Studios.
Vayu wrote the lyrics, which have a modern vibe to them.
Jubin stated “Working with Payal Dev has always been a pleasure, and our projects have all been highly appreciated. I enjoyed donning a new outfit and playing a different character in the music video with Mouni Roy. We had a great time on the sets, and I’m eager to see how the public will respond.”
Says Payal “Jubin Nautiyal and I always enjoy working together, and “Dotara” was yet another fantastic result. We also added a Bengali flavour with a few Bengali lyrics, which really distinguishes and elevates this piece.”
