For Singham Again, longtime friends and co-workers Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty will rejoin. Deepika Padukone, who previously collaborated with Shetty on Chennai Express and most recently made a cameo appearance in Cirkus, also appears in the movie. While the project is still in pre-production and has not yet begun shooting, the producers have apparently set a release date for the movie. Movie, starring Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone, is rumoured to begin production in July 2023. The premiere date for this film is set for Diwali in 2024.

Deepika Padukone will enter the cop world, Rohit Shetty had stated during the song premiere for Cirkus in December 2022. The setting of Rohit’s upcoming film, Singham Again, in the world of police enforcement is well known. Lady Singham, kab aayegi? often asked question. Lady Singham aayegi Toh Singham Again She’s my lady cop from the police universe, continued Rohit Shetty. Thus, we’ll start cooperating as early as next year.
Cop Universe
Together with Devgn, Simmba from Ranveer Singh and Sooryavanshi from Akshay Kumar are also scheduled to star in the film. It is an entire cop universe, and like the Marvel Universe, where a film had cameos by other members. Singham Again would also feature cameos, a source recently informed Bollywood Hungama. Akshay and Ranveer will appear in Singham Again, just as in Simmba where both Ajay and Akshay made cameos and later in Sooryavanshi where Ranveer and Ajay were seen.
The source continues, “There is still time to get there, but for sure there will be something great to conclude the cop universe narrative when it does happen.” But will they lead to a generic climax film like in the case of Marvel.
Ajay Devgn’s character Bajirao Singham battles gangster-turned-politician Jaykant Shikre in the first act of the film  (Prakash Raj). In Singham Returns, the audience watched him fighting back against minister Prakash Rao and fake spiritual leader Babaji (Amole Gupte) (Zakir Hussain).
