In a tense Indian Premier League match on April 30 in Chennai, Sikandar Raza maintained his composure to score the necessary three runs off the last ball, giving Punjab Kings a stunning four-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings.

Punjab needed nine runs from Matheesha Pathirana’s final over to win the game as they were chasing 201. Pathirana only gave up two runs in her opening three deliveries. Despite the intense pressure, Raza maintained his composure and scored two runs off each of the following two deliveries.

The PBKS batters had already scored three runs when Raza (13 not out) sent the final ball in the direction of the boundary, but Maheesh Theekshana brilliantly stopped it just before the ropes.
