Cricket world cup 2023: BCCI shortlisted a list of 20 player which will form the core group

Even while the list has not yet been made public, there is a common consensus that given the fierce battle for positions. Names like Prithvi Shaw, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Deepak Chahar may not make the final cut.
The new selectors will be eager to prevent a repeat of what happened in the previous 12 months. When key players like KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja missed crucial events like the Asia Cup 2022 and the T20 World Cup as well.
