Cocaine Bear Story: Reveal What You Need to Know Before Watching

A black bear in Georgia who ingested cocaine following a plane crash is the subject of the book Cocaine Bear. There have already been a few movies in 2023 that have gone viral online. But none have been as singularly interesting as the horror comedy. The teasers and the film’s ludicrous premise, which is largely based on real events, have made it clear that this drug-addled mammal will be a movie star. Today, on the eve of Cocaine Bear’s opening weekend, comedian and star Scott Seiss has updated moviegoers on all the pertinent information.

The actor tells us that we need to know nothing at all in a 30-second video that was uploaded to Seiss’ Twitter account.

It’s that absurdly easy, just like the magic conch from Spongebob. Cocaine Bear is not a character from a comic book from the middle of the 20th century or a part of a vast cinematic universe like the MCU. The two words in the title—cocaine and bear—are all you need to know. I’m done now. Seiss continues by making a reference to Nicole Kidman’s famous AMC Theatres commercial and drawing parallels between Cocaine Bear’s follies and Citizen Kane, but it is clear that you must watch this entertaining advertisement. You’ll be giggling with your pals the entire drive to the cinema since it’s that amusing.

The 1985 incidents that saw a drug runner’s plane crash and a bear consume their dismembered cocaine served as a loose inspiration for the movie. Although the bear passed away swiftly in real life, Cocaine Bear imagines what would have happened if it had gone on the rampage and scared a number of interesting characters. Once more, the idea is gleefully basic. Even without the film’s impressively absurd title, Cocaine Bear managed to assemble an exceptional cast that would be enough to pique spectators’ interest. In addition to Seiss, other actors who appear in the movie include Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Kristofer Hivju, Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Brooklynn Prince, and the late Ray Liotta, who plays one of his final parts.

Beginning this coming Friday, February 24, 2023, Cocaine Bear flies into theatres.

Given the film’s tremendously entertaining marketing campaign, Universal will undoubtedly make money off of this release. The movie has received a terrific early response; it now has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with a few reviews. The enthusiastic response will undoubtedly draw hordes of fans to the movies this weekend. See Seiss’ humorous new promotional video below as we wait impatiently for the debut of Cocaine Bear.
