Citadel, a new television series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, is promote in India. Chopra captioned a few videos she posted on Instagram from the first promotion event, “First stop: Home!!!… by the entire world! Promoting our show Citadel in India, starting with a heart emoji.
“There is a lot more action coming your way,” said Prime Video India.

Cast Of Citadel
The action-thriller series, which is made by the Russo Brothers, features Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead roles. Stanley Tucci, Leo Woodall, Caoilinn Springall, Lesley Manville, Roland Moller, Nikki Amuka-Bird. Ashleigh Cummings, Sara Martins, Susan Lynch, Osy Ikhile, and Laetitia Eido are some of the other actors.
Indian Version & Second Season
The first two episodes of the show will debut on Amazon Prime Video on April 28 and can be viewed in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Six episodes will make up the first season, which has already been renewed for a second season in March 2023.
Additionally, it will have translations into other languages and nations. According to Amazon, “all of the regional series are intend to improve the overall entertainment experience and will be available for the viewer to deeply explore an imagin layer world.”
It is the most expensive show, surpassing The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which had a $250 million budget.
Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will star in the Indian adaptation, which will be helmed by Raj & DK. Amazon Studios and Cattleya will jointly produce an Italian version of it.
Storyline
It’s a spy world in Citadel. Only the caravan has provided us with some information. The two spies Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra) were betray by one of their fellow spies.
The two of them soon regained their memories, though, as their past caught up with them. They are looking for their betrayer and believe that they are likely plotting a significant action. To solve the mystery and save lives, Kane and Madden set out on the action-packed adventure.
Madden described the plot in an interview and said, “There are numerous interconnected characters and plot lines, and I personally play an amnesic character who has, in essence, changed into a new person over the course of eight years. He no longer remembers anything, so it’s a journey to figure out who he was before the accident. There is a conflict between the life he has been leading for the past eight years and the life he once led. You get to delve into learning about the psychology of having to deal with the fallout from actions that you weren’t even aware you had taken.”.
While talking to WWD about Citadel. Priyanka Chopra said she was doing a spy show with the Russo brothers for Amazon Prime with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. “It’s called Citadel and it’s really going to be amazing. It was a lot of work. I have a lot of scars to prove it.”
