Chana Dal Vada Recipe:
Step-by-Step Instructions To start the recipe, thoroughly wash the dal and soak it for two hours. Jeera, fennel seeds, red pepper flakes, and cinnamon should be added to a blender jar to create a coarse powder. Add salt and the soaked chana dal at this point. Give it a good pulsing. (Take 2 tbsp of the dal that has been soaked with the spice powder; set it aside for later use.)
Both of the chana dal mixtures should be added to a bowl. Add the ground spices, chopped onions, curry leaves, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well. Shape the mixture into little balls by dividing it into equal halves. Deep-fry the vadas in some oil in a pan over a medium temperature until they are golden brown. Serve warm!
