Actor and politician kamal Haasan says, don’t impose Hindi

Actor and politician Kamal Haasan referenced a recent Rajya Sabha declaration made by CPM member John Brittas against any imposition of Hindi and referred to it as the position of “half of India.”
The same is reflected in Kerala, which speaks for the majority of India. Pongal, the Tamil New Year, is quickly approaching. Oh! For your understanding, I’m sorry, Jaagte Raho, the actor tweeted in Tamil.
He seemed to be implying that Pongal would give the fight against the adoption of Hindi a new impetus.
The actor responded to a tweet made by Brittas in Tamil and Telugu, which mentioned the MP’s recent Upper House statement rejecting the imposition of Hindi.
“Your evil plan to impose Hindi will destroy this nation. If Sundar Pichai had to take his IIT examinations in Hindi, would he still be running Google today? In the tweet, Brittas continued.
The Union Education Ministry has advised in 2020 that each IIT and NIT. Introduce the primary language of the state in which it is located as an additional medium of instruction in addition to English for a modest percentage of its students. In a same spirit, the parliamentary committee on official languages recommended in October that the IITs located in states where Hindi is spoken begin offering Hindi as a language of instruction.

Despite the fact that Pichai attended IIT Kharagpur in Bengal, Brittas’ usage of his name sounded illustrative.
Our birthright is mother language. The decision to learn and speak another language is a personal one. In a subsequent tweet in the thread, Kamal Haasan stated, “South India has had this right for 75 years.
“The same will be reflected in the Northeast. It is ignorant to try to advance Hindi by imposing it on other people. The imposed will face opposition.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (formerly Telangana Rashtra Samithi’s) social media convener, Y. Satish Reddy, also tweeted a video of Brittas making his statement in the Rajya Sabha and tagged the Google CEO.
Consider: “Would we have had a @sundarpichai if #Hindi had been the medium of instruction at IIT Kharagpur as advised by the #ModiGovt?” Reddy penned.
Brittas had charged the parliamentary committee on official languages of breaking Section 4(iii) of the Official Language Act at Zero Hour on Thursday.
