According to Diljit Dosanjh, he is not in it for the money. The actor-singer, who has achieved success in the Punjabi and Hindi cinema industries, claims he pursues recognition and admiration instead of money.
Diljit Dosanjh claimed he doesn’t have a “secure career” and defined his work as being without “pension”
But Diljit insisted that he wouldn’t restrict himself to decisions that were influenced by money. Pride is my life. If money had been a concern, I would have participated in more marriage shows, films, and Punjabi films each year. I don’t chase after money. Since I was a child, I have always wished to be famous. Fame knows no bounds. All I want is to live a happy life and accomplish excellent work. I thank God for everything and I am grateful for what I can accomplish.
Diljit gave the example of a recent offer he respectfully declined because he didn’t see himself in it. He was asked to be in a movie with his “favourite” director’s production company, he said.
I only turned down a big film yesterday. He never act in a way that I don’t feel like doing only to make money. I only participate if I enjoy the topic. I heard a script from the production company of my favourite director yesterday. But I reacted by saying, I don’t picture myself in this.
